At this moment, I cannot complete this post because I’m in the middle of trying to correct a bunch of issues.
New Blog Theme
I wanted to update this site. The old site was a hot mess! It was half a static website and half a blog. Not only that, it had been neglected for quite some time and needed sprucing up. This is how it used to look. It was pretty pitiful.
I chose the Kandece blog theme. It’s a nice theme, but it’s quite different from what I’m accustomed to. Not quite different, very different! So different that I made a big mess of things. So, if you’re checking out the blog and notice things are wonky, that’s me trying to figure things out.
Once I get things in better order, I’ll take my time and outline the host of mistakes and bone-headed decisions I made. In the meantime, I feel like a long-tailed cat in a room full of actively rocking rocking chairs. I’ve got a lot to do.
Silver Lining
The good thing about totally trashing a site and making mistakes is that it’s a great learning experience. Not an experience that I wanted to undergo, but an experience nonetheless. Wish me luck. Hopefully, I’ll be up and running soon.
