Welcome to Low-Tech Grandma!
Learning technology, one mistake at a time.
Wanna join me on the journey?

Keep Your Expectations Low
If you’re looking for a tech guru to teach you how to create AI movies, or build awesome websites, or how to make $3,000 in a month, you’re on the wrong site. Here, I muddle my way through technology and share what I’ve learned. Why this site? Well, because my memory isn’t what it used to be. I need someplace to serve as a repository of the things I’ve learned, so when I need to recall them later, I can find them here.
In other words, it’s the hard copy of my memory.
Perfection is the enemy of Progress
As such, this site is not perfect. As a matter of fact, it’s far from perfect. However, if I waited for everything to be perfect, this blog would never get uploaded to the Internet. So, here it is, blemishes and all.
Over time, as I learn more about creating blogs with the help of AI and learning my way around the back end of this theme, things will improve (hopefully). In the meantime, be kind. This grandma is doing her best. 🥴
Tech is Not Just for the Young
I see the memes about having 5-year-olds teaching seniors how to handle a cell phone or use the FireStick remote. Some of the memes are cute, but it’s not necessarily the norm. We (us seniors) are getting on the tech empowerment train, and as a passenger on this train, I aim to share the things I learn. Let’s learn together! 💪🏾 We can do it!
