This post is to all of my No Job for Mom readers. As you’re probably aware, I’ve taken NJFM down.
I intended to slowly move the relevant motivational posts to my personal website and discard the rest. However, the constant spam and hacker attacks forced me to expedite things.
When I took the site down, I redirected the domain name to Low Tech Grandma. I didn’t realize, however, that it would cause the RSS to redirect to LTG also. I was perplexed as to why I started receiving notifications from Feedburner regarding new posts to this blog. After some investigation, I realized what happened.
It is not my intention to spam you with posts on a subject matter you’re not interested in. Now that I know what’s going on, I will disable the No Job for Mom notifications. If you do wish to continue receiving updates from me on Low Tech Grandma, please either use the subscription form or choose RSS from the menu above.

As I work with moving posts and redirecting things, there’s a possibility you might receive an errant message or post notification from NJFM. Please disregard it. It’s just me trying to figure things out.
No Job for Mom had a nice run. It had a great community of like-minded folks. I thank you all for your support and contribution to the community. I wish you all well!
Hi Felicia,
I’m happy to see that you are starting a new venture. I was wondering if this was your site when I got a couple of notifications. You have a distinctive (and great!) voice. I’ll look forward to following your new work.
Hi Ignatius!
It’s happy to see a comment from you! Well, I guess with Low Tech Grandma I can let my inner geek come out for a bit. I look forward to your comments as I know you’re pretty tech savvy.
Hey Felicia! I had no idea you’d taken NJFM down. But I am glad you wrote this post. Sorry I haven’t been visiting as often as I should. I hope 2020 has started on a pleasant note for you. Sending you love. You’ll always be one of my favorites. <3
Hi Vidya!
So nice hearing from you. Yes, unfortunately, I took it down, but I’m keeping the domain name for future use.
I too am guilty of not visiting frequently, however, whether I visit or not, I’m always sending good thoughts and wishes your way. Keep up your good work!
